Trail on Horseback
Come join us for horseback riding at our Snowshoe Mountain Resort location in Pocohontas County West Virginia, located two hours from our New River Gorge outpost
Ride along pre-civil war roads, up and downhill forested trails, stream crossings, magnificent mountaintop views of Eastern Continental Divide, 360 panoramic mountain top views from 4848 elevation, deer, black bear, turkeys, owls eagles are a common sight.
All you will hear is creaking of saddle leather, birds and wildlife of the forest.
The trails here at Snowshoe take you off the beaten path. It’s no cow pasture ride— it’s mountain trails and rolling hills, rides are determined by rider experience/weather conditions. Our horses are eager, well trained, suited for beginner riders and advanced riders as well.
