Our group had an amazing time rafting down the New River with Justin as our guide! He knew the history of the area and was an all around awesome guy! Can't wait to go back in October for the Gauley!

On the banks of the New River at the historic town of Thurmond,
Riverside Cottage features a large deck overlooking the water. One
bedroom with queen-sized bed. A short walk takes you into Thurmond, the
railroad and river town that served as Gateway to the Gorge at the turn
of the century. Notorious in its heyday as the raucous home of
gamblers, rogues and ladies of the evening, Thurmond today is a quiet
and picturesque community being restored as part of the New River
National Recreation Area. (2 night minimum)
