We offer three types of unique rental cabins
and rooms, including magazine-perfect restored farmhouses, riverside
cottages, and a country lodge. Be sure to call ahead for reservations -
these fill up fast!
All Rentals:

Located in the heart of the Gauley River National River area, Lost
Paddle offers wilderness views and accommodates up to six visitors.
Just one-eighth of a mile from the spectacular Long Point Overlook, the
cottage features three bedrooms with hardwood floors, queen-sized beds,
cable TV and a Jacuzzi. All cooking utensils, towels and linens are
supplied. Only thing you need to bring is food, soap and other personal
necessities, and a smile!

is a partially restored 1880's farmhouse just a short walk from our
base camp. Two bedrooms one with a queen-sized bed and a single and
master bedroom with a queen-sized bed offer tasteful, relaxing
accommodations for up to five guests. Breeze Hill is just a half mile
from the New River Gorge Bridge and is convenient to all activities in
the gorge.

On the banks of the New River at the historic town of Thurmond,
Riverside Cottage features a large deck overlooking the water. One
bedroom with queen-sized bed. A short walk takes you into Thurmond, the
railroad and river town that served as Gateway to the Gorge at the turn
of the century. Notorious in its heyday as the raucous home of
gamblers, rogues and ladies of the evening, Thurmond today is a quiet
and picturesque community being restored as part of the New River
National Recreation Area.

Secluded country cabin located within the New River Gorge and only 4
miles from the New River Gorge Bridge. One room cabin tastefully
decorated with all the amenities, queen bed, twin bed, satellite TV,
hot tub, barrel sauna, and grill. There are plenty of outdoor
affinities at your door step here with a basketball hoop, trampoline,
horseshoes, and a fireplace for evening retreats. (2
