River Adventures is a West Virginia four-season outdoor adventure
center that can arrange overnight and multi day trips so you can
experience many outdoor activities. You can have one of our friendly
reservationists book the trip of your dreams or you can choose from one
of our existing packages. We can design a trip to take you to the most
special, seldom-visited or simply spectacular spots in our outdoor
wonderland.

New River
Overnight/Multi Day Trips
Get a feeling for life on the river. Experience the first day of
wonderful scenery and gentle rapids on the Upper New. Complimentary
kayaks or duckies as well as a raft are provided for your enjoyment.
After enjoying a leisurely day on the river you will then pull in to
make camp. Our guides show off their culinary skills treating you to a
fireside dinner. Watch the sunset, go for a hike or relax around the
fire and forget about the real world for a while. Day two starts with a
leisurely breakfast and then back to the water for more excitement of
the Lower New. We also offer custom 2 to 4 day trips!
Weekdays - $210
Saturday and Sunday - $245
Overnight Trips
Important Information
To make your overnight trip more comfortable there are some things you
may want to bring along. Remember you are camping on the river and it
is primitive, so you will need to bring a lot, we will provide camping
gear (tents), food and beverages, and campfire.
- Change of clothes for when you get off
the river.
- Sleeping Bag and Pillow and Sleeping
Mat
- Light Jacket for evening
- Insect Repellant
- Flashlight/Lantern
- Playing Cards
- Camera (waterproof)
- Medication (if necessary)
- Additional Snacks (optional)
