We are passionate about what we do and have fun doing it! All of us at New and Gauley River Adventures focus on the details so you can enjoy the adventure! From our guides, shuttle drivers, and adventure consultants we are friendly, highly skilled outdoor professionals, committed to safety, service, and hospitality. What we Offer
Offering scenic float trips, half day river trips, full day high adventure trips, overnight trips, multi-day trips, fishing trips, family fun packages, cabins, campground, horseback, climbing, mountain biking, caving expeditions, hiking, and winter snowshoe treks, and cross country expeditions. We also offer catering and dinner from our very own Undercut Pub & Grill and Breeze Hill Inn.
We can accommodate groups from 1 to 300, trip times from 7AM to 7PM spring/summer, 7AM to 2PM fall/winter. Call our Adventure Consultants today!

New and Gauley River Adventures is not your average outfitter. For starters, we are a family owned and independently run company. Our owner, Skip, can be found doing just about everything from driving the shuttle – to guiding your boat. We are personable, professional, and fun!
Don’t be fooled, many of our fellow outfitters have merged into large corporate operations all operating from a central base or as they say – campus. They may promise you more, but what they don’t tell you is they will book more people in one month than we will the entire season. And they won’t tell you or show you in their comparison charts is that they have crowded base camps, crowded campgrounds, higher prices for the same river trip, not to mention you will be rushed down the river, and spending lengthy amounts of time waiting on shuttles.
That’s not us; we offer quick shuttles and minimal crowds. Our base camp is personal and welcoming, we pride ourselves on the connection we make with our clients during their stay, and we are committed to your satisfaction. We are the premier outfitters for white water rafting and outdoor adventure in the mountains of wild and wonderful West Virginia.
Location
We are conveniently located one mile north of Fayetteville on US 19 and a quarter mile north of the World Famous New River Gorge Bridge. Our location allows quick access to the New River Gorge, Gauley River National Recreation Area, caving, rock climbing, hiking and biking trails, scenic overlooks, Summersville Lake, Cold Knob MT, and restaurants and galleries - just to name a few.
